Dalai Lama Blessing talk

On July 18,2025, I was lucky to have spent a few minutes with His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama at an outdoor blessing event in Choglamsar, Ladakh, India. I will be sharing that experience along with other events that occurred during my travels in North India.

About the event
Traveling to Ladakh for the 30th Anniversary of Siddhartha High School gave me the chance to spend meaningful time with my friend and teacher, Khensur Rinpoche Lobsang Tsetan, both before and during the July 8th celebrations. I cherish every moment with Rinpoche, and after the event, my heart felt rejuvenated by another visit to see the children at the school and my Ladakhi family. Meeting His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama, was the last thing I expected. In December 2015, I was just a few feet away from His Holiness during the inauguration of the new Gompa at Tashi Lhunpo Monastery. It was emotional to see Khen Rinpoche and His Holiness in tears as they celebrated the revival of a monastery dear to His Holiness because of the Panchen Lama.
