Judge Victor Reyes (Ret.), This session focuses on stressors that are inherent in the judicial system and the tools that may lead a happier, healthier life. Secondary Trauma is a reality which affects us on a gross and subtle level. Recognizing that fact begins the process of healing and developing lifelong tools so that we can better serve our communities.

1) The participants will understand the concept of trauma and secondary trauma and its gross and subtle effects on our psyche and body.

2) The Participants will learn tools designed to increase their resilience when dealing with their work and mitigate the effects of the traumatic experiences.
