Central High School Pueblo Rule of Law Session

Thank you to Charles Anselmo from Central High School for the opportunity to share my thoughts on the state of the rule of law and the workings of the criminal justice system with students from his governement class. The student’s questions ranged from personal regrets to the role of integrity in people’s lives! The students also expressed an interest in pursuing careers in law and forensic science with the goal of working in law enforcement.

Just as gratifying was getting the opportunity to visit with some students who I had met at Minnequa Elementary school 6-7 years ago. When I was leaving, a student approached who I immediatley recognized as one of the most amazing artist I had met for her age.

It is heartwarming to see how the love and guidance that these student received from the staff and teaxhers while at Minnequa has manifested into young people who are doing well and will bring change to this world.
