USDOJ and Executive Office of Immigration Review: Judicial Temperament, Tone and Demeanor Training. 9/18/2024

What an honor to work with the Department of Justice, Executive Office of Immigration Review, the National Judicial College, Judge Kristi Harrington and Judge Thomas Zonay on the issue of Judicial temperament and tools to increase resilience. At one point there were 784 participants. Immigration judges are under a great amount of stress both in and outside of the courtroom and it was good to provide some tools to help mitigate the impact. We also discussed the Naura Declaration recognizing the newfound emphasis on Judicial well-being through United Nations Office of Drug and Crime.
