Well-being Training in DuPage County, Illinois

On May 15, 2025, Chief Judge Bonnie Wheaton of the DuPage County Courts hosted us for a training session on secondary trauma and resilience. This event is one of a series of trainings we have been conducting in Cook County, with plans to extend them throughout Illinois.

Under the guidance of Justice Elizabeth Rochford, Erika Harold, Executive Director, and Stephanie Villinski, Deputy Director, both from the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism, as well as Dr. Diana Uchiyama, Executive Director of the Illinois Lawyers Assistance Program, the State of Illinois has emerged as a leader in judicial well-being in the United States. They acknowledge the connection between the well-being of judicial officers and the quality of their work.
